Hurray! It's the weekend of the Oscars, that time when the Hollywood propaganda machine cranks up to full bore and tells us all how great and artistic and deserving their largely safe and derivative offerings are. And if you think that's a tad cynical of me, it's much better than the standard right-wing take on the ceremony; lots of Jews giving pieces of gold to one another.
